Wine course
To keep me busy and feeling functional, I did a short wine course on European wines. Which I liked a lot! Last Tuesday we had the finishing touch which consisted of a long and elaborate meal. Of course every single plate was accompanied by a good glass of wine. I am trying to convince myself that this is feasible, learning the mondial production of wines by heart. You name me the Chateaux, and I will tell you what kind of wine it is, and what kind of dish you should combine it with. :)
(By the way, I felt pretty sick next day after five glasses of wine and one Calvados. Don't tell anybody. But hey, it was worth it.)
If everything goes well, the 26th of June there will be an exam (second-grade: the professional) in which I am participating. I have to travel to the other side of the country to take the exam, and I still have to study more than 500 pages of wine districts, so I hope I'll make it! It's time to start tasting again, instead of studying!
If I pass, I'll give a wine party. Who will join?
