Oh, PLEASE do! I really, really want to see Chekov being molested by the plant while Sulu watches. Since it is his plant, maybe he's found a way to control it somewhat? Or he can control it with how much water and light he gives it?

That's what I had in mind, really. The back story as it goes in my head is that Chekov's birthday is coming up, so Sulu though he'd do something special... It was going to be a surprise, but he didn't want to scare him off, so Chekov knows. And yeah, I would imagine that Sulu can control it. Although its experience with Kirk might made it react differently... >>
