Can I just say how giddy I am to see Nick Wechsler back on television? I had no idea whatsoever that he'd snagged a leading role in ABC's Revenge, and I'm just thrilled to pieces. From the pilot, it's clear that his character, Jack, is the root-for love interest of the lead, Emily (VanCamp/Thorne...LOL), and I'm completely onboard.
And, God, this takes me back to the Roswell days. Being a true blue Valenti fan. Slashing Kyle and Max, 'shipping Kyle and Tess (and Kyle and everybody, really). I can't believe how long it's been.
Nick's aged VERY well. Brawny, scruffy, a sexy working class hero. Guh. But I will never forget him getting a present from fans at an event and shaking the box thoroughly, asking, "Is it a puppy?" I STILL shake boxes and do that.
Revenge is soapy enough that I'm already hooked and, for his sake, I hope it does well!
