Video killed the radio star...and my brain.

A few quick, not-particularly-spoilery TV thoughts...

Breakout Kings - Four episodes in, and I STILL don't like Serinda Swan's Erica. I miss Philly. Erica, the barely legal bounty hunter with the sob story and the anger issues, just doesn't do it for me. It's like the writers tried to go to the opposite extreme of "hot con artist" Philly and give her TOO much motivation and back story. And it just feels over-the-top. I know Lloyd is already the fandom woobie (gee, I'm so surprised!), but I continue to like Charlie the best.

Castle - Aside from the great Castle/Beckett banter, Ryan and Esposito being awesome, and the wonderful Rick/Alexis (obligatory GH shout-out!) scenes, the episode was lackluster. The Case of the Week didn't hold my attention at all.

Make It Or Break It - When even Kelly Parker is 'shipping Sasha/Payson, you just KNOW the show is aware of how evil they are being. To wit, I am still firmly on Team S/P. If Pretty Little Liars can go forward with the utterly banal, snooze-inducing Ezra/Aria, Sasha and Payson's far more adult relationship should be...child's play. ;-). Glad the show is back, and even more glad they kicked off the season with shirtless Neil Jackson!

The Good Wife - I really love how this week's episode was shot. Whoever directed it did a great job of creating a mood with the camerawork, because it definitely stood out to me. We got a great sense of Kalinda's isolation and increasing nerves, and it wasn't just because of Archie Panjabi's spot-on performance. Also? Alan Cumming was adorable this week.
