I have brief, non-deep thoughts about The Vampire Diaries.
1. Elena is AWESOME...even if she is being a martyr. I loved how she fought Brady off; all the little tricks she used to evade him in the house, and how she attacked without hesitation. Stefan may be right, that he's *lived* and therefore has the option to die for her, but her view is just as right! Elena's not going quietly. That's what the important thing is. She's got balls. And when they're not moping, she and Stefan are adorable and a great team.
2. Jeremy and Bonnie! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Oh my gosh. I don't care that it was a cliched set-up for a kiss, I still loved it. Just the right amount of adorkableness and hotness.
3. I rather enjoyed Damon being tortured. We need more of that every week. Glad he traded the obnoxious, wangsty compulsion confessing from previous weeks for his usual veneer of jackassery.
4. Did anyone else think Jonathan and Alaric were on the verge of whipping 'em out and measuring 'em? My God. So hilarious.
5. Booooooo to Tyler. However, it's probably good for him to go off with Jules and get a handle on his wolfiness. Even if Jules is horrible.
