Um, maybe this is what you were going for, but pelotas are less balls and more...soccer balls.

I love the fic though, there can never be too much V/Lamb or V/W!

Heh. I actually knew that pelotas are more sports-related balls rather than testicles but, for some reason, I couldn't get the word out of my head. It's sort of like...Weevil hoping Lamb will take his balls and go home. Mixing my metaphors, as it were. I'll probably go ahead and change it when I put it up on my site.

"Lamb countered with a surprising display of pelotas." I think cojones is the word you are going for here, pelotas is just... off. Other than that small nitpick, I really enjoyed this. I particularly like the way you write Weevil and would love to see more.

I really wasn't going for cojones because, as I said to a commenter up above, I just had the word "pelotas" on the brain for some strange reason and it was a deliberate choice, even knowing that it didn't mean the right kind of balls. Still, if it's "off" to at least two people, I'll probably change it before it goes up on my site. :-).
