Seriously. You'll have to excuse me. I surfed in from a dafnap rec. She knew that I'd been looking for some good Potts/Coulson, and this is so totally awesome it's not even funny. The shoes! The fact that he's a G&T drinker with more T than G. The shoes! The fact that he has really nice penmanship and the fact that Tony has shitty penmanship! Tony gets her a package, too, but she sends Phil the e-mail before opening it. Oh my God. What lovely details. :D

Thank you so much! YAY. I've been wanting to write them since I saw the movie the first time and a second viewing just helped crystalize them for me. I'm glad that you liked all the details and that you found it totally awesome! I just write whatever pops into my head and pray that it works. And I couldn't resist the little Colbert shoutout. LOL.

Also, I just watched your vid to "God's Gonna Cut You Down." Wow! That was fantastic and such an apt song for Tony... though I'm one of the many who associate it with Papa Winchester and the boys.

Thanks! :) And, no, my search for Pepper's shoes was starting to get a little insane. Though I DID find a really cute pair of Louboutins that were red, patent leather, strappy, and had sort of a tiger-striped feel to them. VERY awesome. Also, how awful is it that i made Coulson buy her SUCH expensive shoes? Jesus, it's no wonder she put out.

(I fully blame the movie, though, since apparently Pepper thinks nothing of plunking down $500 for her footwear.)

Ohhhh I love this! Not only is it great to see a change up in the Tony/Pepper that's the norm for the fandom, but I love the way your worked subtle little references in such as Wakanda and Warren Worthington and, of course, the Colbert campaign. :P And I love the shoes and all that goes with it!!
