Saw Iron Man again.
Squee. Still love it. Learned things of the following variety:
1. The shield! Eeeee!
2. The cheeky arm is named "Dummy," and, yes, you'd better believe that when I got home at 3 a.m. I changed that in "Snapshots From the Gawker Stalker."
3. I really, really need to write Agent Coulson/Pepper fic... DONE!!
4. ...and what may or may not have happened during Spring Break in '87.
5. Rhodey absolutely, positively, loves Tony and I didn't imagine it the first time.
Man, I'm tired.
So, after the movie last night, we were trying to think about who should play Captain America and came up with these parameters: blond, generically all-American looking, with a military bearing...who must look good with RDJ and Terrence Howard (that last one was my contribution, naturally). I go, "Too bad Aaron Eckhart is already Two Face." Tiffany disagrees with the choice, pointing out that he's not buff and doesn't look like he could have served in the military. Well, that's nothing a gym won't fix, right? In any case, a couple of hours later, we're dishing Iron Man and the extended universe with one of our bartenders and he goes away for a bit. He comes back...? "Aaron Eckhart!"
ROTFL!
I really don't consider Aaron a serious Cap choice, though he's close to what I picture. Mainly because I don't want to get DC all over my Marvel. Don't let the streams cross!
