I'm still squeeful from Heroes. It was, as the Doctor would say, "Fantastic!" However, this post has nothing to do with that fandom at all. Here's a more relevant-to-the-present take on my old Jared Padalecki/Lauren Graham fixation. All apologies for any glaring SPN errors since I only watch the show sporadically

I know that you already know that I love this, but I had to tell you again now that I've read the whole thing. Lauren Graham and Jared Padalecki pretty much create a vortex of hotness, and I loved when you wrote Lorelai/Dean, but this is even better, because it doesn't have the shadow of dirty!bad!wrong!/she'd-never-do-that-to-Rory-ness about it.

Plus, Sam Winchester is eighty times cooler than Dean Forester.

And this? This was probably my favorite line, because of the way it hurt: He kisses her like he might never get to do it again.

Thanks, Gracie! It's definitely a different vibe with Sam because, as you point out, he's eighty times cooler than Dean and older and the Rory-related issues are only there subtly. Sam just has more angst than his Star's Hollow counterpart...and I could totally believe that he'd think any woman he slept with was somehow in danger from the Big Bad Demon. (Though, hey, I still hold on to 'Rory's Dance' Dean who says things like, "I could kill you, Man!")

I'm so glad you loved it. Lauren and Jared really do look absolutely gorgeous together.

Wow, that just blew me away. Your Lorelai is pitch-perfect, and your Sam is oh-so-cuddlable. Nicely done!

Incredibly funny and incredibly hot. I don't know how you managed to capture Lorelei's stream of thoughts and words, but you did, and it's fun and fresh. And oh, the Sam you describe here...oh, the Sam...oh my. Makes me thing that this Lorelei is one lucky b...ma'am.
