I just finished watching LFN's "Charity." Guh. Oh my God. How could I possibly have forgotten the hotness of Nikita pulling her gun on Michael at the end? From the
twiztv.com transcript:
NIKITA: Why shouldn’t I just pull the trigger?
Michael doesn’t flinch, but advances toward her, never taking his eyes from hers, until the gun’s muzzle connects with his throat.
MICHAEL: I can’t think of a single reason.
Keeping his gaze locked with hers, Michael lifts a hand to gently cup her wrist, bending his head and kissing her fingers. He straightens, letting his fingers glide from her wrist, along her hand, then slowly over barrel of gun like a caress. Turning, he walks out the door, not looking back.
What I loved so much about these characters was how tactile they were. Michael lied with his words, but never with his lips or his hands. And how freaking adorable are the cut scenes with Nikita and the cat? This show missed its era. Were it on now, fandom would be exploding all over it. The het, the slash, the Woobification of Michael (Hell, it's built-in; there's nothing to woobify), etc.
It's a typical lazy Sunday. I've got my DVDs to watch and I should probably clean my bathroom and kitchen and call that damn locksmith already. Sigh. May work on fic, too. We'll see.
ETA: Why do I want to write Madeline/Nikita slash? *whimper*
