"What’s the point of knocking me down? Everybody knows--I’m already good on the ground."

Things that I'm totally over.
Classes.
Papers (5/8 left).
Finals next week.
Newspaper, media, and individuals who have taken to dehumanizing Cho to cope with the VT massacre.
Dumbing myself down in class.
19 credits in a semester.
Anxiety from being positive I will obliterate my GPA.
Already feeling pressure to compete in national scholarships for senior year.
Almost missing my PBK membership.
Being overwhelmed and overcommitted.

Things that perk me up.
Beautiful weather.
NPR.
Finding out I have a paid internship in the fall with the new Gender Center.(!!)
Pleasant surprise in grades on returned papers.
Realizing my bank accounts are fuller than expected.
My MC386 paper, which has become an amazing excuse to research awesome Tamil women (including MIA!).
Roadtrip to see the Dalai Lama with Nick next week.
Truman Leadership Week in May.
India in June.
Having the lightest schedule to date with 15 fall credits and 16 spring.
Knowing I can graduate with 2 majors and 3 specializations.
My senior thesis!!

Stuff hanging over my head.
ASB leftovers.
Paperwork on thesis.
SAC stuff.
Truman reimbursement stuff.
Figuring out how to pack up my room before Thursday.

The pros outweigh the cons, thank goodness. :)
