Monika for President... ack!

Ah~ yesterday was such a happy day not only because I got to attend the H3 con with my Piggy and met new friends but because I received news that

I am now a Lasallian Ambassador!
After all the hard work, group simulations, interviews and effort to excel from more than a hundred applicants (I'm not precisely sure if we were 300+) where only 20% would qualify, I got in! I am an ambassador! I will represent the schools, help out in the freshmen orientation, participate in touring aspiring Lasallians around the campus... come to think of it... this all sounds very tiring. Haha... it'll look good on my resume, though. Lolz
Maybe I'd do this for a year and not renew my ambassadorship until I finish focusing on my majors. I can only do this now because my courses are pretty light... I'm sure that I won't have the time to help out in Lamb once my majors flow in.

Whenever people ask me what job I'll get from taking up economics, I answer them "Well, I can be a president. GMA is an economist." So I wonder... will I be a president? If I do... what will I do first? Hmm... probably wash out every corrupt politician in the government first then take care of the environment and the marginalized society. However, it's pretty difficult to get to presidency without exposing yourself to corruption. Hence, Darcy of TLS recommended two easy steps to becoming a politician/president:

  1. Be a multi-award winning actress
  2. Run for a government position/presidency
... hmm... these two steps might just work, you know.

Tee-hee, I'm sporting red nails these days. I think the color looks ravishing.

I only like wearing red, black or French tips. It's either really neat and light or extremely dark and vivid.
