My pop was an amazing incredible man.
To know him, was to love him. If you were meeting him for the first time
you were getting a kiss and a hug. He was so warm and loving. So strong.
The Patriarch of The Covotta Family.
So many people are feeling the immense sadness of his loss.
Death will find us all but no one was prepared for this.
It was too soon, but I suppose it always would have been.
I will miss him with all my heart.
His smile, voice, his hugs and double or triple kisses, the scent of his cologne,
his amazing love and pride in all of us.
Everytime I saw him he told me how much he loved me.
I am so thankful I got the chance to say goodbye on Sunday, when he was still awake.
I said, "I love you so much Pop." And he told me, " I love you to Mon...how's the baby?".
A family man until the end.
The greatest man I'll ever know.
I love you Pop.
