In case you're wondering...

We're fine here in the Bronx. The winds are really, really strong and the trees are bending impressively, but so far so good.

I actually worked from home today until they shut down the servers. Probably going to do the same tomorrow.

Hope everyone else in the path of the storm is safe!

Good to hear! I think the storm is on the move and PA is getting the worst. Of course, to watch the Weather Channel is to believe that all of NYC has flooded and all hope is lost! Hope you keep your power!!!!! :)

NJ got hit really bad. My dad and stepmom normally live in Cape May, but luckily they're already in Florida for the winter-phew! Whole chunks of boardwalk got torn off in the coastal areas. Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn got flooded pretty bad too, but so far the Bronx is okay. Hope it stays that way! I think tonight is supposed to be the worst of it for us.

I hope everything goes well for you overnight! The wind is gusting at top speed in the 50s here (DC)... I can't believe we still have power.

Stay safe! :)

Yeah it's nuts! We've got 50mph with gusts up to 71 right now- and let me tell you, it sounds like it! The wind is straight-up howling. Crazy!

Glad you're all okay in DC!

Stay safe! :)
Back at you!

I've seen a few posts from my Flist and everyone seems to be clear of the worst of it, power still on, no flooding - Looks like Manhattan got the bum deal being closer to sea level.
