This week in music...
This week I've been discovering all kinds of awesome tracks I somehow missed during the 80s.
Last night at around 9PM I found this:
...and I've been listening to it exclusively since then (meaning all the way to and from work today and again now on loop while writing). Something about the chords and the lovely dissonance puts it in that category of "Why have I lived this long without knowing this song? I must burn it into my inner stereo forever so it can become part of my dream-soundtrack."
Earlier in the week I found some Sisters of Mercy tracks I'd also previously missed, my favorite of which is:
I had no idea they'd done a track where they switched to German halfway through. Well-pronounced German too! Good job ; )
