Where are these demons getting all this blood from? This should be part of the shark teeth challenge because this was creepy.

As for where the demons are getting all their blood from? I'm guessing the same dimension the blood goes to when Sam's extracted what he needs from it, because otherwise Sam has a magical bladder - which though possible, isn't really something I want to think about too much ; )

Sam's magical bladder is canon. He lay unconscious for two weeks after getting resouled! LOL! I know TMI!

It's my head canon that they stuck a Foley catheter in Sam while he was unconscious. Or that he just peed all over the sheets and Dean kept changing them as they got soiled.

For all the demon blood they have Sam drink, I'm thinking more of a magical stomach. All that demon blood Sam sucked down in Swan Song? His stomach is clearly way bigger than any normal person.

The catheter makes sense. HOWEVER! As you point out there was no catheter in Swan Song so either: Sam really asked Dean not to watch because he knew he'd have to pee, and that's why he left the trunk open (for privacy) OR he has both a magical stomach and bladder.

Come to think of it -only a magical stomach could sustain a man that size and build on a diet of salads...
