Thanks again to all of you who read my beast of a fic (well to me it is a beast- it's the longest piece I've ever written, but then again I just started writing fic last year) ! and a HUGE thanks to the incredibly talented
quickreaver for gracing me with such amazing art. King!Sam is quite pleased.
For more on the amazing art, go
here! ramblings:
Most of these chapters started off at my beloved
spnquotefic with the exception of the very first chapter,
More which came from a prompt by
rokhal etoile444 reminded me why I had to write this in the first place (and why my muse started cracking the whip so much to push me to finish it this quickly).
In February, I wrote
Daystar which is essentially about Sam and Lucifer as one being. The thing is- an omnipotent Lucifer really wasn't nearly as scary as I thought he'd be. I'm happy with the way the story turned out, but it left me really, really curious about what would happen if we had an omnipotent Sam. I was certain he would be far, far scarier.
Q&A
Both King!Sam & I got some excellent questions already, both here and over at
AO3and we're happy to answer any more!
----------------------------------------------
from rokhal Sam. I think it's time to have a long, serious talk about your goals and priorities for the cosmos. For example, how important is it that independent living and nonliving entities continue to exist, besides Dean?
Sam's answer: Sure, let's talk. I know just the place.
(moments later, in Sam's throne room)
My priorities for the cosmos...let's see. Well. I've checked off most of my to-do list already. Hell is under control, Purgatory is gone, Heaven is in shambles and all four archangels are dead. I do still need new fish though...
As for the second part to your question:
I don't really care about anybody's existence but Dean's and mine. I'm okay with some demons and angels existing. After all, they are pretty tasty.
----------------------------------------------
From Mulder200 on AO3 So does that mean that Sam just destroyed Heaven and killed the angels?
My answer: Sam killed 37 angels. The 12 that met him at the Gate, the 12 guarding the Garden, and another 13 on the way to Castiel and Dean. As for what happened to the rest, I don't know, but I can't imagine it's good.
Heaven didn't react well to Sam forcing open the Gate, so essentially Sam caused the earthquakes. Dean lost his grip and fell, but to Sam it probably looked like Castiel pushed Dean over the edge (he didn't). Heaven crumbled because the lake disappeared.
----------------------------------------------
From
babyreaper : So heaven fell, Castiel lost. But what about Dean is he alright? Dean did something to the lake and was unconscious when Sam took them both home, but does he wake up again, did falling into the lake change Dean?
My answer: Dean is fine. Sam is making sure Dean gets all the rest he needs, and he will keep Dean safe until he wakes up. The question is - was the lake empty or full when Dean landed in it? What I do know is that Heaven crumbled because the lake emptied. However, whether Dean's fall emptied the lake, or whether Sam's forced enty into Heaven broke the lake, that remains a mystery.
