2015-writing recap
I wrote 367K words in 2015, of which a third was fic. (and of which at least 75K is the current WIP that is going to easily take me another month or two to finish-the actual fic will likely only be 30K or so, but hey ; )
The first fic I posted in 2015 was Bear Necessities, in which Steve and Bucky find and rescue a Bear Hydra experimented on. He takes a liking to Bucky.
My last fic of the year was Lightbringer, my first contribution to Yuletide, a Mazikeen/Lucifer fic
And my favorite fic of the year...I’d have to say it’s a tie between On the Ropes (pre-war Steve drawing life-model Bucky), and Bad Becomes Worse (post-Zola Bucky and Steve). Both were really fun and challenging to write, for very different reasons, but I loved writing them both.
There were also some new HTMYAW one-shots, a Peggy Carter fic (feat. Howard Stark and Bucky), and of course a Planet Hulk Stucky fic with Natasha and Sam.
I also wrote a few original comic scripts (adapted from an old novel draft) and a handful of short stories. 2015 was a bit tumultuous IRL, but it was definitely a good year for writing!
