I love Bucky's thoughts in between Pierce's HYDRA yammering. *narrows eyes* He's onto you, Pierce.

"...says the man in the bow-tie. Not Zola."

Oh?! Were memories of Zola starting to creep back in?!!

OMG NOOOOOOOOO THE LOCKBOX!!! ;A;

Once again, I enjoyed your description of the fight scenes. It's interesting seeing things from Bucky's POV. Especially his inner monologue regarding Steve before their big fight. Poor STEEEB is trying so hard and Bucky is pretty much "uhg, you think I'm gonna step aside just because you ask, peasant who I've never met before?" . *sobs uncontrollably*

He remembered Zola operating on him at the beginning of the vault sequence (end of chapter 10) so I figured at this point a little blip of Zola's name (and his love of bow-ties) was appropriate. What is it with Hydra and bow-ties anyway? I always suspected bow-ties were evil ; )

I knoooooooow D :

Oh yeah- writing these scenes with Steve from Bucky's POV is so painful because you know that if he was fully himself and saw what he was doing / trying to do to Steve he'd take himself out rather than hurt Steve.

"He remembered Zola operating on him at the beginning of the vault sequence (end of chapter 10)"

Oh, my bad. I always re-read the last little bit of the previous chapter before starting the new one, but I didn't go back quite far enough this time. *facepalm*

"I always suspected bow-ties were evil." <--- THIS!

He was fighting until the very end... But even chains didn't help :(((( They has crushed everything!

I'm waiting for next chapter with hope on "From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring" (C) Lord of the Rings

Because Estel always remains. (Tolkien concept, you should read the Silmarillion finally)
