Oh gawd, that is so painful after the last chapter. ;A; Which is exactly why I love you for writing it. :D

I always found Renata's death so unnecessary. Like seriously, Pierce. She's a maid, who's she gonna tell? She doesn't know who the Winter Soldier is. To her he's just some random scary guy sitting at Mr. Pierce's kitchen table and she couldn't even see his face anyway.

*grabs Pierce's glass of milk and throws it in his face*

The only thing more unsettling than Zola using Bucky to survive, is the idea of him having deleted himself from Bucky's mind. I loved that concept so much I had to add it in.

And I agree totally about Renata. That, more than anything else Pierce did, made it clear what an ugly human being he was.
