I did some Ashtanga right before the ep too to make sure I'd be prepared for all the hotness (and relaxed too just in case Sam got knocked out again thus inciting my rage)
but you know what? I actually enjoyed that episode quite a lot.
Obviously because of the ARMS!! AND THE TANK TOP! AND THE MUSCLES!!!!!!
and the yoga : D
SAM HAD A BENDY PARTNER TOO! DID YOU HEAR? IT WAS PROBABLY BRADY AND RUBY AND THE YOGA CLASS HE SLEPT WITH WHEN HE WAS SOULLESS
but you know what else? I really enjoyed the side characters in the ep tonight too. I liked the surprise-not a hex revelation at the start and I loved the sheriff- such a cute dialect and I liked Maritza!
AND ♡_♡ SAM DEFENDING A GOOD MONSTER ♡_♡ and SAM NOT BEING KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS ♡_♡
though seriously could he save himself for a change- even hubby's like. "dude is eight feet tall muscle and he keeps getting his ass handed to him by people half his size, that's dumb"
and and the pain! of the brothers arguing but that conversation at the end was SO SPOT ON! APPLAUSE TO THE WRITER OF THAT DIALOGUE that was PERFECT and that sums them up in a nutshell. Dean will always always choose to save Sam no matter the consequences or situation and Sam would never go against Dean's choices for Dean. That's the difference, and that impressed the hell out of me.
Also, as depressing as it is- Seeing Dean drink that much again is very in character, and his snarky remarks to Sam about his awkwardness with ladies. Possibly Dean is thinking about teenage Sam still and not wham bam thank you Sam because he is not awkward omg no- did you see him doing the yoga? and that slow loving pan up the calves to his shoulders- those shoulders ♡_♡ and the curve of that tight little
AND DEAN BEING DRUGGED WAS ADORABLE AND SAM SAVED HIM, KINDA? BUT HE DID THREATEN THE DUDE HE THOUGHT POISONED him so that was nice.
and the PECS mmmmm. and the running with the MANE
so yes- I liked it!

and yes I did teehee every time they said cupping because all I kept thinking was balls because I am twelve.
[vague spoilers for next week because wha-huh?]I hallucinated the promo for next week right? I saw Sam with a sword and a delicious sweater and then my brain just short-circuited after that because otherwise I saw something that must be a terrible joke. I remember J2 joking about it, but they wouldn't actually...would they? Oh Carver.
I do believe there will be a new spn-swsao issue sometime soon. After I have time to GIF the crap out of that episode.
