Tablet Talk (more translation - 8x14 edition)
Since missyjack pointed out this screenshot , I've of course decided to see what symbols I could recognize on the spell-paper Kevin gave the boys for the first trial!
I'm pretty sure Kevin copied this directly from the tablet which uses a mix of several different magical languages.
If we rotate the image like this:
the letters become a bit more recognizable. The very first letter (which is also repeated in the bottom row) looks very much like this letter
That's from the "Writing of the Magi" alphabet. Top right could be either
or
though I'm leaning towards "Ch" personally.
In the bottom right there's s star-like letter, that's probably an "A" from the Malachim alphabet:
Any ideas on what the other letters are?
All alphabet images are from "The Magician's Companion", which is my favorite reference for things like this!
