ep 8x12 insta-reaction
ok so I was totally wrong about the whole Nephilim thing
but you know what? still a cool ep! I enjoyed Abaddon quite a lot, and Henry was an intriguing addition to the family! I have to say that up until now, I really haven't been that big a fan of Adam Glass's episodes - the only one of his I really liked was "Like a Virgin" - and that was mostly because of Eleanor Visyak ; )
But back to tonight's ep!!
If you 've read any of my fics, or my posts, you know I'm a huge nerd when it comes to Enochian and love using it in my fics. So much though that when Henry said his spell I yelled out "Blood calls to blood!" and Hubby rolled his eyes and called me "Dorkus" However- I was right! (okay well he said "blood leads to blood" but still ; ) - reading the Enochian language database so much was clearly a productive hobby quickreaver and I actually used a very similar spell in last year's bigbang Burdens, Doublefold, though I phrased it "Keeneelah vehmehdeh keeneelah" / end ramble.
Anywhoo!
Yay Henry and knowledge seeking spell-knowing badassery! I actually really enjoyed his Hunter-insults and how bristled Dean looked for most of the episode. Dean takes pride in his job! And he looooves his Dad! OMG that was so sweet the way he defended John non-stop. And the boys in general were so wonderful together in the ep tonight! LOVE!!
Henry- why'd you hurt Baby? Nobody elbows Baby in the window!!
Also, Sam? Keep the gold box sweetykins, because that's gonna be how you stop Naomi and Crowley from using the tablets, mark my words!
I really want Sam to research Henry's club now because he'd probably be very happy with all the info. Wonder if they'll continue that part of the storyline at all. I sure hope so!!
