(no subject)
So, I thought I found a place to live, and I moved half of my stuff in yesterday. When I got there, the young roommate didn’t answer the door and the other one wasn’t there. She was not very friendly, and kinda creepy. I brought my things in; then looked around a bit. I looked in the bathtub, and it was a dirty shade of brown. I should have checked that out before. There also was not a key made for me yet. I went to work afterwards and realized that this place was really stressing me, and I didn’t like it. I had forgotten what stress was before this. So today, my fabulous brother and I went back and moved my stuff out…and I called the bank to cancel my deposit check. I don’t think I’ve done anything this shitty to anyone in a super long time, but I didn’t want to be stuck in a random apartment with a random guy, who was described to me as fucker, sleeping on the couch. I hate when I’m flaky. I guess the calluses on my hands are my punishment. Justin moves out here in a week, and I am super excited.
I guess it’s time for another update on the exciting things going on in san fran:
*watched some guys break dancing on the sidewalk for about 2 hours…head spins and all
*went to a costume dance party. Good times were had. It reminded me of dance parties at chris and dougg’s.
*my favorite student sent me a text message that said happy Halloween. I miss my kids.
*I applied for a nanny job…hopefully some one will trust me with their kid(s)
*watched a lady fall off the cable car. Dumb tourist.
*since moving out here, my fish has become a pro at swimming on his side. Not too many fish that can do that for 2 months
*my parents flew me down to san diego. We went to the zoo and it rained, a lot. Got to see my old friend nick while I was there. He’s a super guy. I wish I could see him more often. He has the cutest little boy in the whole entire world.
*I have couple friends who live in the tenderloin. You should check out this website. It’s all about the neighborhood. Well, it makes me laugh. www.tenderloin.net
