-"Water supplies have been contaminated and we are sending people around the areas affected to tell people how they can get hold of fresh drinking water once the supplies arrive."
But they say the accumulation of dead bodies is not as great a risk as people believe, and it is the living who pollute the water.

ii) Soaps/Detergents/Paste and other items, for cuddalore/nagai etc.
iii) Kodams, vessels and other utensils
iv) There's a huge need for Blankets and Mats
v) Medicines - Doxycycline, Cough syrups, ORS packets, Septron tablets/syrups, Anti-histamines etc.

I'm going out to the second-hand stores tomorrow to get blankets and then to Aldi's for cheap food and medicine if they sell it. If not it's straight to Food Basics or Big Lots.
