FanFic Author Appreciation Day!! Thank you all!!
All my life I have been a reader, since I can remember I searched for books, my mom, my father, my grandma, aunts, libraries, they gave me the chance to find amazing stories and live life in different places, times and bodies!!
For the past 18 or some years, fanfiction has been a survival tool for me, from so many authors and the different kind of fandoms!!
I started mostly with anime, like Sailor Moon, Magic Knight Rayearth, Card Captor Sakura, Saint Seiya, Macross, Slayers and comics, mostly Batman and Wonder Woman!!
Then came the books, TV and movies, Lord of the Rings, hmm Legolas!! Harry Potter, Star Wars, total Anakin fan!! Labyrinth, Pride and Prejudice, Dune, Irulan related ones, the Phantom of the Opera, Smallville, oh Chlark, how did you made me suffer!!, Days of our Lives, Grey’s Anatomy, House, Chronicles of Narnia, I truly love Susan Pevensie, The Tudors, 'cause I’m a huge Anne Boleyn fan, Buffy, and I like Willow better!!
And then, the ones I read now, some stuff I never considered before, except the one canon couple I liked in X-1999, slash fanfiction!! Avengers, Merlin, Supernatural, they opened a new space for me, ‘cause I never even thought about it!!
All the stories I read where either of het couples I liked, canon or not and general stories about friendship and family and all, and then slash came and wow, the stories are amazing!!!
This showed me parts of life I had no idea existed and it has, I hope, help me grow up as a person, so thank you all of you, who have been writing stories that we can enjoy, that helps us think and change and evolve!!
