Malware vids on LJ

I have also been getting replies that are links to videos.
They seemed weird and like spam so I didn't click them. Turns out, that's a smart move. Someone (I forget who, but that is because of my achy head and rest assured you are a computer saving genius!) linked to this explanation last night.
In short, the link goes to youtube, yes, but the link itself apparently contains a rootkit virus that is a nasty, nasty bugger.
In short, report the usernames, delete the comments, but above all, don't click the links. I submitted a support request and checked out other ones relating to this. One has a LJ reply which mentions a new wave of spammers, but says nothing about a virus.
So better safe than sorry!
