My father lost me to the Beast at cards.....

Spent the whole of last week and the weekend trying to accumulate, experiment and gather ideas and informatiuon for my Solo performance piece called 'My father lost me to the Beast at cards' which is the opening line to Angela Carter's tale based on Beauty and the Beast. The only problem is i havent been out anywhere or found anything to accumulate, gather and experiment with. Time is ticking on, I have 7 weeks left and time is starting to run out, i dont have any concrete ideas yet and its driving me crazy. I have set myself such a rigid structure to work y, and although its roving to be hard at the moment im determined not to stray form it. I just have tyo get out there and start doing things. I've done exactly what jill said we would- ive been stiing down reading not experimenting.

This solo piece could make or break me and my future career, it so important i get it right, i dont want to end up stacking shelves all my lfe!!!!!
