It's a done deal! Teh pony is mine!
I just got the OK from the BO a couple days ago to start paying for my share of the boarding, so Zenite is really my pony now. It turns out the other leaser's grandma is in the hospital and in pretty bad shape which is why she never showed up. So the BO doesn't want to push this decision on her right now, but he's fine with paying the other half of the board in the meantime. There are also more people in interested in co-leasing, in case the girl who was offered the deal in the first place decides it's not the best time to be taking on a horse.
There's only one little problem: I wasn't counting on that so soon so i went ahead and spent a good amount of money on horsey stuff. An then on top of that there was the equine insurance and he equine federation annual fee to be paid this month. So my budget is stretched pretty thin. Damn it! I need to find a way to make some extra cash...
Well, budget problems aside, I definitely got a high spirited pony on my hands. But I'm getting better at sitting through his silly "You can't stop me!" moments. Sometimes it takes a while to cool him out bu as long as I remain steady in my seat and keep my wits, I can handle it. And I'll balance my budget somehow. Right now i just wanna shout:
WOOHOO! I HAVE MY OWN HORSE!!!
