(no subject)
Here's the thing: I'm getting into the very bad habit of never going to bed before 2am these days. That's probably not good... especially since all my housemates go to bed at 11pm because they all have to be at work at 6 or 7am. So I sit in this house all by myself in the dark for 3 hours every night... watching TLC and facebook stalking. Such an exciting existence, I know. lol
But... here's something exciting: I'm coming home a week from Saturday!!! I CANNOT WAIT. I can't believe that my whole summer-in-Oxford thing is almost over though... it went by extremely fast. Or, rather, it went by fast EXCEPT for all the time I've spent sitting in Geo121. hahaha
Here are some fun lists, because I love love love lists:
These are the things that I've become obsessed with since I've been living "on my own":
-Frozen vegetables
-Cleaning the kitchen
-TLC
-Sleeping
-Cheese (okay, so this is nothing new)
-My housemates
-Tollhouse break-and-bake chocolate chip cookies
-Procrastination
-Staying up until 2am
-Stouffers
-My bed
-Eating popcorn at midnight like every night
-Watching So You Think You Can Dance with Matt Cullinan
-Talking on the phone for multiple hours a day
-Air conditioning
-My Bible study and the Bible study girls
-Jumping on the trampoline
-Visitors
These are the things that I have a newfound hatred for since I've been living "on my own":
-Refilling ice cube trays
-Bugs... all over the place, all the time, that don't die, ever.
-Parking on campus (again, nothing new really)
-Paying bills for stuff other than my credit card
-GEOGRAPHY 121!!!!!!!!
-The fact that my heart will probably spontaneously stop due to all the cheese and popcorn I've eaten
-Did I mention the bugs?
-Sweating all the time
-Gas prices
So, really... overall the experience has been pretty good, minus all those Cons I just listed. Although, I am very glad that I did this, but I am even more glad to be coming home in a couple of days. I don't remember if I mentioned this or not, but when I come home I'm 80% sure that I'll be working/volunteering/interning/doing stuff with the Wexner Center for the rest of the summer, which should be AMAZING. And since I'll probably be paid like nothing, I'll also be babysitting... if you want to spread the word. haha
For those of you who are interested, the boy is kind of becoming a thing, I guess. It's confusing. BUT, I told him that he IS coming to a gathering sometime... so he'll make an appearance sooner or later. And besides, I don't even think we'll scare him because he said that he had FIFTY people in his prom group. haha RIDICULOUS.
Anyway, time to shower and then watch my TLC before bed. Can't wait to see you all soooooon! =)
