All's for the best in this best of all possible worlds

It's definitely been a while since I've updated, so I figured I would make it clear that I'm still alive... and let you all know what I've been up to! lol

First of all, I'm sad that I didn't get to see you guys more over break... with the trip and then the breakup, I either wasn't there, or wouldn't have been that much fun to be with anyway (ask Mallory...haha) But I did enjoy New Years (possibly the best caveman bash in the history of existence!) and a special thanks to those that paid visits and made me feel better about everything!

On that note, for anyone who is curious...things are A LOT better in my life now. No, I don't have a boyfriend and no, I'm not even remotely friends with Sean currently, but I just feel like my life is back on track, and I'm (relatively speaking) much happier now than I have been in a while. It definitely still sucks sometimes, and I'm not looking forward to running into him on campus (I haven't seen him at all in like 8 weeks...), but it's nice feeling like I'm headed in the right direction now. Mallory has been AMAZING listening to me all the time, and my friends from school have been sooo supportive and wonderful. Especially my best friend here, Danielle... you guys have to meet her sometime. She is definitely one of my favorite people!

Anyway, let's see what else: I'm taking the most amazing schedule that has ever existed in the history of college schedules... 5 theatre classes, 1 Com class, and Candide activities like NONE OTHER. I only have 3 hours of class on any given day (MUCH better than the 4.5-7 hours I had last semester) and I'm taking:
-World Theatre and Performances 2
-Fundamentals of Theatrical Directing
-Sexuality in Film
-History of the American Musical 1
-Scene Painting and Scenic Art
-Opera Production (for Candide)
Needless to say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my majors! Danielle is pre-Med, and she loves it (most of the time lol), but it's just so funny when we talk about our respective majors because it's such a different college experience being in the sciences v. the arts. Oh man.

Speaking of Candide... you should ALL come and see it! It's my debut for the theatre dept. and it's a musical, and it's going to be sooooo good! It's a joint project between the theatre and music departments, which means that it's going to be the biggest show we've produced in a while. The dates are April 5-7 (Easter weekend...) and the 12-15th!

And and and (the most exciting part) there's a cute boy in the cast... so I'm flirting with him and it's fun. lol

Umm other things? I'm still planning on going to London in the fall... I sent in all my application materials and I should be hearing back SOON. I'll keep you updated. I have been going to performing arts events like it's my job (since it kind of is...) and in the last month I've been to like 3 plays, 1 comedy show, 1 opera, and 1 ballet. AMAZING. I am doing Adopt-a-school and helping out with a local 7th-grade language arts class... I'm excited about diagramming sentences because, true fact, I LOVE grammar. lol And I also LOVE LOVE LOVE yoga! I've been going like 2-3 times a week and it's probably my new favorite thing ever. I'm going to be ripped next time you see me...

lol and I think that's it. I hope everyone is having a good day and a good semester/quarter! =)
