AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm going to take this opportunity to brag about my amazing twin sister:
MALLORY GOT ACCEPTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA!!!
Granted, this doesn't necessarily mean that she's going to pack up and be there in January (although it is a possibility), but it does mean that she's not going to be stuck at OU! Here are some facts about UVA:
-It's the #2 public school in the nation, behind UC Berkeley and tied with University of Michigan
-They accept only 30% of the transfer applicants that apply, and of that 30%, 3/4 of them have to be in-state students... meaning that Mallory is awesome because the margin is very narrow for out-of-state transfer applicants
-In terms of all colleges and universities, UVA falls right behind Notre Dame, Carnegie Mellon, and Georgetown (all private schools) and is ranked better than UCLA, USC, UNC, NYU and Boston College.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR HER!
**I have removed my comment about OU... I apologize if it made anyone feel bad. I'm just beyond ecstatic that Mallory can have somewhere to be that is right for her. I realize that OU is very right for others, and that's fine with me.
