Picked up Bastion on steam. It's a third-person hack and slash indy game and a first from Supergiant games. It has hand painted backgrounds, and apparently a solid story. The narration is indeed pretty awesome, but the weird thing is I'm worse at it I was at the Witcher 2. I think it's the fixed third person perspective - and possibly the consolised controls, since it's an X-box release as well.
Oh well. You get three lives at least. I've yet to lose all three of them so far, but it's been close. I'd recommend it if you're into this kind of game at all, and it's only $15 on steam (less if you're using Australian dollars, of course ;) ).
