Holidays!
Are here again, three glorious weeks without work. Two glorious weeks to finish my entry to the manuscript competition. I just want to nap right now, however.
Also, what is with the sudden wave of stupid dudebro misogyny sweeping the gaming world currently? Come on, guys, you're making us look like utter dicks.
Anyway, what else? My temporary boss (he'll be gone back to his home campus by the time I come back to work) told me I was the best and hardest worker in the section. It's nice to be appreciated. Yesterday was the winter solstice and today is kind of balmy and sunny and I know it'll be cold again on the weekend, but just for an afternoon it's nice to be reminded that summer exists and will return to us.
Haven't played any games since the GW2 beta. Generally too tired or busy writing. I'll try and get Grimrock finished, and maybe play the Pandora expansion for Amnesia (the sequel: A Machine For Pigs looks like it's going to be wonderfully terrifying). Dnd seems to have died on all fronts.
I'll see about getting the rest of Jazz Age posted these holidays as well.
