Squeeage - Borders is sponsoring Phoenix Rising!
As I think you know by now, I'm helping out with Phoenix Rising, a Harry Potter academic conference being held in New Orleans this May. Borders (and Waldenbooks) announced today that they are sponsoring Phoenix Rising as part of their "Great Snape Debate" program prior to the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
If you're thinking about going to Phoenix Rising (and I hope you are), and you're a Borders Rewards Program member, you qualify for a 10% discount on the registration fee for the conference. Borders is also doing tons of other cool stuff for the conference, outlined here in their press release -
