long weekend
yeay! i finally got a long weekend. slightly different from others, mine is Saturday Sunday Monday.
Today is my Mom's 56th birthday. Called her just now. She's alright, wanted me to buy her a book. Will ask my sis to buy it for her then.
She told me 2 news about my grandparents:
1. My grandfather is now in hospital. Was admitted on the 27th to the Intensive Care Unit. But now in recovery room I heard. I hope he is alright. He's old, and after he lost much of his eyesight, his health declines. Hope he's alright
2. My grandmother, who just turned 80 on the 21st of this month, celebrated her birthday yesterday, in a restaurant in Jakarta, inviting her friends (which... of course, mostly above 65) for lunch and some party. Yes... my dear ol' granny had a party yesterday, with live music and dance floor! OMG!! The single-piece band accompaniment plays music for... ahem... line dance, for the silver citizens dancing. So... my 80 year old grandma and her dance clique can dance show off their line dance routine. Oh well, glad she's healthy
