(no subject)
It's been raining a bit the past two days. I like rain, especially on days like today. It was just the right temperature, not cold, not hot not humid, just a nice spring rain. I like walking in rain too and I would have today expect I have more sense than to go walking in rain in February, even if it happens to be 65 degrees.
My journal needs a new layout except it was so long ago since I knew how to do all of that stuff that I've forgotten and I don't feel like learning how to do it all again. Plus, I'm not feeling particularly creative right now and I would probably end up with a mess.
Work is work i'm kind of over the place though, so let the search commence again. Now I have experience though so it should go better, here's hoping.
I've been reading "The Name of the Wind" By Patrick Rothfuss. It's pretty good, everything I like in a story and I find myself laughing at 2:00 in the morning as I read before bed. I like the humor because it's just little subtle things:
"I decided that he was not an altogether bad fellow. I felt guilty about the three pens I'd stolen, but only for a second. And since there was no convenient way to give them back, I stole a bottle of ink before I left."
I went to Kelly and Gary's last night and we played Beer Pong with Anita. I suck at Beer Pong but it was fun.
hmm...oh last week I went to a Happy Hour in the strip district called "Juice". It happens once a month for people involved in the arts and stuff. Lot's of advertising, marketing graphic, film, etc. people there. It was an awesome networking opportunity. The only thing was the bar was expensive and I didn't know ha. I only had two drinks and it was 20 dollars!!! Whaaaat. Oh well, it was definitely worth it though. I want to go again next month.
This really didn't have any direction because I didn't know what I was going to write when I started but hey, at least I'm writing something.
