Ice day!
I haven't posted here in forever! I'm testing this new LJ app to see how well it works.
One of the big things aquired last year is the infamous iPhone. As unnecessary as it was, I have loved it ever since. Sure, I'm on it like crack, but you can't help it, believe me. If you never want to experience it, don't start.
So today was a seriously winter weather day. Yes, I live in the South so we do freak out when an inch of snow is iminent. However, we freak out for a reason. It just doesn't snow usually - it snows a little, sleets, then maybe a lil rain.
Then it ICES over. That's the dangerous part of it all. Not the snow.
The Metro Atlanta area is almost nine thousand square miles big. When the metro area is iced over, guess how many salt trucks get sent out - a whopping four! So you can kind of see where back roads in the burbs may get a little looked over.
I nearly got hit by a car going to work this morning hitting a sheet of ice and sliding and spinning out over two lanes and into mine. No fun!
Anyway, I hope it's better tomorrow morning. My car doesn't need to be hit a third time in the last five months!

"Modern Family" is one of the best shows on television, btw. Just catching up on a couple of episodes. It's a comedy that pushes to being so wrong but still has a lot of heart to it.
"Cougartown" after it is a surprisingly just as funny of not funnier at times. And I never thought any of the former "Friends" cast can capture any television success again.

Hopefully seeing "Avatar" on Sunday on 3D IMAX! It will be my first 3D theatrical movie I've seen :) heard it was, like, a trend or something:D
