:D
It feels like nothing right now... when I stretch it feels like a pinch... when I shower is the only time it feels like what it is, LOL. Ouroboros is not a fan of the water right now. It looks hot though, as far as I'm concerned (though a smidgen larger than
I originally planned).
East Side Ink was a good choice. I was put in the hands of
Mike Harada, who was very cool from beginning to end. I got nothin' but smiles from everyone there actually (even the amazingly hot assistant chick, reason enough for return visits let me tell you). My next two will most assuredly be done there.
Speaking of my next two... this experience has definitely put placement of tattoos in perspective for me. Obviously I think the pain of getting tat'ed up is bearable (and having gone through it I think it's pretty integral to the whole experience) but man... oh man... some pain is just too far over that masochistic line for me. There is certainly no abdominal tat anywhere in my future. Also, considering the aftercare of the art work... I'm rethinking the placement of my scroll. I was almost certain it would go on my back, but for the life of me I can't fathom having to try to clean and cream something back there 3 times a day for 3 days and then apply lotion to for, like, 10 more days. I am neither ape nor octopus. But the next one, the devil on my right calf, should be no problem. I'm also contemplating something small to go on the top of one of my feet.
Real TalkTM: this tat is such an inspiration for me to step up my ab workouts, LOL.
I've been looking up pictures of peoples' ouroboros tattoos for weeks now. Some of my faves:
-
Enso circle tattoo (would be the most perfect ouroboros tat if it had the snake/dragon head)
-
Ouro and Tree Tattoo-
My REAL Ouroboros (I really dig this design)
-
Ouroboros2 (Nice placement)
-
Ouroboros (Wow @ placement & design, not to mention a dope picture)
w0rd.
Now I need a nap. I also need a shampoo that will strengthen my hair. Anyone have recommendations?
