It's a good thing to be able to laugh at yourself. Take me, for example. I had chuckle at myself after getting out of the subway earlier this evening on my way to
Paragon (got muh jump rope!) with
my scarf on (first time this winter) but not wearing my scully... and while the wind's blowin' and my ears are gettin' cold... I refused to put on the scully, 'cause, y'all know how too many layers makes me kind of uncomfortable? Yea... there's not much point to all this info... I'm jus sayin'.
Anyway....
Curse of the Golden Flower
'Twas a decent enough flick. Not necessarily entrancing or magical but entertaining. More story than sword fighting, for those who are curious. The story ain't bad, neither. A nice twist or three between beginning and end. I hated the end, though. It's kind of refreshing to see a movie end in such a way (Asian cinema, live-action or drawn, has always surprised me the most with their acceptance of realistic endings as opposed to... "happily ever after") but it didn't go the way I wanted it to... so it was good, if unsatisfying.
OMFG @ what I'm listening to. The internet will surely bring about the end of humanity, and this is proof, hahahaha.
Oh, and LOL @ the What do you think about homosexuality? entry in
blackfolk.... AND the following "Black people love some chicken, huh?" spoof.
Too much laughing today. I need some sleep.
