Just a little babble about Cashmere Mafia, The L Word, The Brave One and Resident Evil: Extinction.
I enjoyed Cashmere Mafia more than I thought I would. It wasn't annoying and I liked how the characters were looking out for each other. And of course Bonnie Somerville being all cute kissing Lourdes was a big bonus. The scene was much fun. I just hope they don't rush the storyline and let it develop decently. I also loved Frances O'Connor. So on the basis of the first ep I'll definitely keep watching but I'm not trusting it to make me a fan yet. I made a clip of the 'Caitlin doesn't know if she's gay' scenes, won't upload it to YouTube because it might get taken down and my account with it so it's just downloadable
here.
I'm still mostly bored with The L Word. It was time for 'goodbye Paige' and I hate that. All I'm interested in now is what will happen between Bette and Tina (if anything will) and what happens to Helena in prison. The rest is blah.
I was finally able to watch The Brave One and I liked it, a lot. The beginning felt a bit hasty and it got me worried but when they got down to business it was all good. Jodie Foster was fantastic as usual. The ending surprised me but it was better in the way that it left a good feeling. I won't start talking about whether it was the right way to end the movie, how would I know? I can understand some being upset about it but guess the point of the movie wasn't to give a moral lesson. Anyway, it's a great movie and I'll have to watch it again sometime. It's not exactly the kind to watch just for entertainment, at least not for me. I've always been fascinated with stories about how far people are capable of going when pushed enough and they're more of the 'makes me think' kind for me. Exactly what shouldn't be done while watching Resident Evil: Extinction. I enjoyed it too but for completely different reasons. It was way better than RE: Apocalypse, thankfully. Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter rocked and they had tons of chemistry. The best moment? Alice snapping out of the brain control when she heard Claire scream. All I'm saying.
