Well that was bizarre. I had a dream last night caused by far too much fanfiction and Pokémemes. It had to do with why Satoshi( Aka. Ash) never ages. In my dream, whenever he gets to a certain age his father, Giovanni causes him to reset. That’s why the different hats. He wakes up on the day he got the hat for the first time, the day he started planning his journey. And what hat he gets affects his plans, sending him off in a different direction. Only in my dream he secretly remembers, and is trying to find a way to fix himself so he can get away or never be reset again. That’s why his most powerful Pokémon leave, they are trying to find help, and why he goes out of his way to make allies and friends.
