Trains trains trains
I watch some live feeds on YouTube via the tv, mostly critter-type cams, but this morning one of the suggested cams was Virtual Railfan (you can look it up easily enough). I like watching trains (who doesn’t?) and I took a side track (nyuck nyuck) and began another rabbit-hole journey while having my pre-dawn coffee.
The second cam I opened was in Ashland, Virginia and I watched in amazement as some freight train rolled by with never ending cars. I went back in the timeline and watched from the beginning: it took 5 full minutes to roll through town! Note: if you go on today and roll back to 5:50 a.m. you’ll see this.
So next I’m finding myself looking up this town’s information and website, and here are their official train mascots (copied from one of their Twitter accounts).
