Little Roundup
First off, thank you all for your kind thoughts and words for The Huntress. Damn but I miss my buddy. I’m not ready to move on just yet, though we’ve put away a lot of her things (food bowls, sleeping blankets, her little steps that allowed her to get onto the couch, and such).
Edit- As with Maverick, I took The Huntress’ post down (made it private) . She's in my heart, and, as with Mavvy, seems always to be just outside my peripheral vision as I think I see her in their usual haunts...

Otherwise, we put up the tree this week, and for the outside lights I bought timers. The bit of snow we received after hellacious rains gives a cheery air to the deer we added to our ‘display.’
One deer is animatronic, from 2006, and comes from my in-laws.
I decorated behind the desk at work this week, as well.
Nothing fancy.

I discovered that the Berenstain Bears’ home, Bear Country, has other sentient creatures than just, well, bears...
These two cute fellows show up on the bottom right cover of a Thanksgiving book.

We watched the ‘new’ Mulan tonight. It was enjoyable.
