Yesterday was boring. I literally spent 14 hours on the computer; it's crazy.
Today wasn't that bad. Alisha and I went for a movie in town and we took lots and lots of pictures. I'll post them when they're uploaded.
We were kinda in a fix on what movie to watch. Initially, I wanted to watch Hide and Seek but all the reviews I've read didn't really flatter the movie much. White Noise was at 4pm which would means we'd have to wait 4 hours. ALTOGETHER, we really wanted to watch A Very Long Engagement. Thing is, it's an M18 movie. Okay, there's this really big thing over here about movie ratings. G is generally kiddy movies. NC16 means you have to be 16 and above to watch the movie. M18 means you have to be 18 and above and RA means... you really shouldn't be watching the movie. At all.
A Very Long Engagement is M18. We gave it a chance and we got in. HOORAY. I really wanted to take a picture of the M18 sign they had on the cinema door but we didn't. I know, small things excite me.
It was a beautiful movie. I couldn't take the gore in the first bit (WW1 etc. etc.) but I liked everything else. Watch it.
I don't have anything else to say. I've got school tomorrow and I'm positively dreading it since I've not done anything that I should have done. As in homework.
Homework is evil.
I lost my OoTP book. The ripped edges and broken bits were such a sentimental point to me. I got a new one from Borders yesterday...
... and it was selling for $7.90.
I mean... c'mon. That's such an insult to Jo and her books. That didn't stop me from grabbing the opportunity but... WHAT A RIPOFF. YAY.
And I know, the kiddy version looks crazy. But they didn't offer the adult ones.
That's the side of my living room near the window. I thought it looked pretty cool.
