Bookmarks homepage

So, bugger knows what possessed me to actually do this, but I've deleted all my bookmarks and replaced them with a webpage I coded myself to be my homepage.

I am not a programmer, fluent in HTML or anything. I'm proud at what I've created, but I've no idea how I managed it...

Here's what it looks like now.

Having done a bit of that kind of thing myself I know it's not as easy as you made it sound. That's awesome!

Still tweaking it, trying to tidy it up a little, incorporate more hidden bits and make it overall more practical.

All it took was a bit of imagination and google, really.

Ooh, shiny :-). Is that a web design job I see in your future?

I doubt it.

the process worked like this:

1) Find code
2) Copy code
3) Fill in link details
4) Done? If yes: end, if no: goto 1

If that's all web design is I'll be surprised, and happy to take a large amount of money off you to create a similar webpage... :P

I suspect it mostly is actually, except you have to find pretty pictures too.

Yes, and make sure that the button placement or the way you crop the image doesn't end up with half the image underneath buttons or otherwise obscured.

I've also set it up so that there are buttons at the top now that when you click them, changes all the pictures inside the cells.
