[Dreampost] post-final goodness!
Uh...I could talk about my finals, but that would be no fun. Maybe next post~
[Monday walks into a fish market.]
Monday: Is this really where the school festival is being held?? Weird... [eyes a few delicious fish fillets in a glass counter]
Guy behind the counter: You want some of these? [gestures to the fillets]
Monday: [nods and smiles]
Counter Guy: [snorts and covers his mouth with his hand] Snrk! Heehee...AH HAHAHAHA!
Monday: I, um...
Counter Guy: [continues his maniacal laughter]
Monday: [runs away from the counter] ?!
[A woman with black hair tied in a fishnet waves Monday over to her counter]
Counter Woman: I see you over there! Like what you see? It's low-priced, I assure you.
Monday: [walks over, curious] What kind of stuff...um...do you have?
[Monday looks to see that the "cheap" items in this counter are still somewhat overpriced, but interesting. What looks like shrimp tails nested snugly into an orange-ish stuffing-like substance catches her eye.]
Counter Woman: Ah, yes, our cheapest item, stuffed prawn! Want to buy it?
Monday: Eh, well...[looks unsure]
Counter Woman: Still not sure? What if I give you a free sample?
Monday: ...Ok, that sounds fine.
[The woman takes one of the prawn tails and digs it into the stuffing. Monday looks and notices that the bulk of the stuffing appears to be partly made out of mealworms.]
Monday: !! D:
Counter Woman: What? You won't try it?? You don't turn down a free sample, girl, so give it a try.
Monday: Ehh...okay. [takes a bite out of it, chews it, and promptly spits it out in disgust]
Counter Woman: [gets very angry] So you don't like it, eh?! Well, get out!
Monday: But it's not-
Counter Woman: GET OUT! [points to the door]
Monday: [runs out the door like she's on fire, because wtf]
Summer's kicked off pretty well. These days I've been doing a lot of DS playing, a lot of book reading, and some job-hunting. Phone interviews seem to hate my name and refuse to record it. It's pretty awesome. :Db
