(no subject)
Okay it's gone 12 oclock my next train leaves at 2.20pm and i really should probably be getting ready. not typing this out, but i dont know when I'll next have a chance to use a computer and just I need to write this before I start to forget the small details you know?
Okay basics, we got there at like 7ish? or just gone. And the guys were hugeeee. There were two queues and we joined the queue that happened to be the wrong one. All the bands were late 'cause they got stuck in traffic 'cause of the snow, so the doors didn't open til like 8? Well thats about the time we got in anyway. The Audition had already started playing and apparently there was supposed to be another support band but there wasn't time for them to play...boo. [though i think im inclined to not like them very much if they're who i think they are but ill explain that part later]
Anywho, I forgot my id so i kind of cheated and used nickys id to get a wristband so we could have alcohol cause me and nicky look quite a like. Needless to say, I got pretty drunk but I was fine when Tai came on.
And we got fairly close to the front and my gosh they are so amazing. By the end of the gig I was on the railing. Like for the last song or so and then for the encore.
I'm trying to remember the setlist but its proving awfully difficult. I know they played Attention as the encore, my friend is telling me they opened with Phrase that Pays but I'm a little hazy, and they definately played, black mamba, lax, seed, slow down, big mess, skeptics, classifieds, checkmarks, and Down and out. So pretty much the whole album, plus the three new ones.
Erm..they talked in between the sets but seriously my mind is going blank. I know there was a bit when they mentioned tai tv and bill was like would you like to see Sisky's new tattoo and we all screamed and cheered but then he didn't. And oh god on the last song, Bill like came up the railings and we all practically molested him right there, I had my hands in his hair at one point. Oh jeez they were just amazing for real.
Anyway, after the show, all the underage kids got chucked out of the venue, lucky i used nickys id otherwise i would have too! Anyway, so I think I ended up with another drink, and then I was like oh jeez. Side stage is Mike Carden, like with the smallest bunch of kids getting him to sign stuff. So naturally I'm like there in seconds and being as I'm small, I manage to right next to Mike. and he signs my ticket and I get to talk to him a little and I believe it was something like,
Zoe; You guys are like my heroes
Mike; Aw thats so nice of you
Zoe; I'm coming to see you like 4 times on this tour.
Mike; Wow. That's really nice of you, thank you so much, I'll get to see you a lot then.
Zoe; -flailing inside- Yes I'll come find you at the show tomorrow
Mike; You definately should.
Then I asked him to have his picture with me, and he was like sure, no problem.
Voila.
Then I asked if I could have a hug and he was like, Oh god I'm really sweaty but if you don't mind that, inner zoe was like omigosh mike sweat all over me, I'll never wash again =P
Anyway I decided to stop pestering him after that. A few seconds later, Chiz appears. And oh gosh, cutest man in live for real. And we were talking together and I was asking if he enjoyed playing in the uk with tai for the first time and he was like yeah and i was like we watched tai tv and we all definately love you and he was all cute and smiley and like thank you. and he told me he used to live in london but it was waaay too cold for him. bless.

Got a snuggly chiz hug too and then Sisky came and appeared.
And awwwh he's so cute. I was like we totes have the same birthday, 8th of January. And he was like same day as, and then we both said elvis presley at the same time. Cause we're cool like that. He was being all posey for photos as he was signing so I took one of him and he was like lemme see lemme see and then he was like ah i look good and I said I liked his hair.

And then of course, I had my photo taken with him. and got a sisky hug too.
Then Sisky disappears and we get yelled at because there's still loads of underagers there. Then butcher appears and I didn't speak to him a lot because as some people now, he scares me to pieces. But he's really nice really, I just get scared easily
He went to go and find Bill for us, which is really sweet.
Anyway, so Bill comes out and oh the hordes of girls that ambushed him. All the underagers. So I was there, he signed my ticket but no picture and no chance of talk and he's trying to say with the fans but then Tony appears and wraps his arms around his waist and like physcially drags him away but then a few minutes later he escapes and appears again, and its all like a cartoon sketch but then he gets taken away forreal. And I'm like a little disappointed but hey, I met them all thats what counts.
So we had some more drinks, and then Bill appears again and I'm like oh shit. So I practically leg it over, and then I have my photo taken with him twice. Because we didn't like the first one but I'm gonna post them both anyway. I told him about coming to see them 4 times and he said i was a great fan and I was all you know how tai tv is on american time? Me and my friend stay up til 5am just to watch it. And he looks really shocked and pleased and gives me another hug and says hes sorry and thank you. And then he let me kiss his cheek and oh god. I'm trying not to pass out right there, so I hastily say goodbye before I like cry all over him.

Anyway, so I have a few more drinks and I'm quite drunk/tipsy. Some guys stubs his cigarette out on my knuckle [which by the way still hurts like a bitch] and I think this dude is from the support band that didn't play, hence my instant hatred.
But yeah, think is I go to the bar and who's standing next to me but William Beckett. And I'm just like hey, and he says hey back but I don't know what to do so I get my drink and run away, finish it off and I'm wandering, and then I see Mike Carden and I'm like hey. I promised Lesley I would try and record him saying her name but theres no way you'd be able to hear it.
So I'm like Hey mike? Can you do me this really huge favour, and hes like sure anything, and I'm like, my best friend lives in Edinburgh and we're coming to see you together in Glasgow but shes seriously like your biggest fan, like you're her favourite member and everything and hes all smiley and cute at that and then hes like, walking towards the stairs with me and hes like you want me to call her? And I'm like yes! Exactly. So I flail a bit whilst I shakingly get my phone out and try to dial lesley, it takes me like three attempts and I can't hear anything on the end of the line and I don't even know if shes there or if its her answer machine but I give the phone to Mike and we sit on the stairs together and he has this cute little conversation with her and then gives me my phone back and then he gives me a hug and I kiss his cheek and he's like now I really need to go pee, I'll see you around again I hope. And disappears into the gents.
Anyway I keep seeing Beckett and I'm like I really want to talk to him again because he's ust there and hello. I don't know, thing is I have no idea what to do and I don't want to annoy him, so Nicky gives me some money and tells me to offer him a drink. So I go over and oh jeez. I'm insanely drunk by this point and I find him and offer him adrink and hes really sweet, cos he smiles and then he's like we're actually all getting free drinks tonight so its cool. and I can't remember what exactly happens next but he says im sweet or something and I tell him how much tai mean to me and how I get really depressed and stuff and they help me through with tai tv and the songs and videos and stuff and he takes my hand and looks at me like really seriously and hes like, its okay. And Its like i dont know amazing, and then hes like us guys feel like that too a lot of the time, thats why we make music for you guys, to help you. And hes saying thank you to me and then he gives me a hug and I'm all trying not to burst into tears forreal. And then I say about the mess video and he looks really pleased that someones seen it and liked it, and i say about the bit where hes watching himself and the bit with pete and the bit at the end when hes all alone on the stage and how i really wanted to hug him when i saw it and he gives me another hug and seriously this is like all my dreams coming true. I don't know what else was said, but hes like well we're going to be milling around all night so I'll bump into you again I hope and I'm nodding and then going back to nicky.
Theres a lot of dancing and drinking and then I find Carden again and I tell him about the cigarette burn and he gives me this big warm hug. an hes like that really sucks man or i dont know, i cant even remember anything.
Anyway we go to leave and I say bye to bill cos i see him again and I'm drunk so its a hug and a kiss on the cheek. But its cool you know.
And then we're outside and Arran really wants a cigarette and just ahead of us are Mike and Butcher and I sort of run ahead and I'm like hey mike can I ask you the rudest thing and hes like sure and I'm like do you have a spare cigarette. And he says he doesnt but instead he gives me the one from his lips. And says i can have the rest and then gives me another hug and I kiss his cheek again [apparently i do tht a lot when im drunk?] and he says he'll see me tomorrow and I of course take the first few drags of the cigarette because hello its been in his mouth!
And I give it to my friend and then keep it. I still have it...lame i know but shh.
There was more things i think, like when Mike said me and Lesley definately have to come and find him cause he wants to meet her oh and when i told him about the cigarette burn he asked my name so he would know it at the other dates and he said it was a really nice name and just oh squeal.
