2008 in review
1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
move in with a boy, have my own class, get engaged
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
no and no.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
no
4. Did anyone close to you die?
no.
5. What countries did you visit?
no travels...
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
house, camera, shorter commute?
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
4-4-08 and my last day of student teaching
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
finishing student teaching, getting a job, being engaged
9. What was your biggest failure?
not making progress on my thesis (again).
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
not really.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
a tv for kevin and new comforter set.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
karen and my mom.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
a few students.
14. Where did most of your money go?
the duplex.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
our duplex, some wedding stuff, our engagement pictures, christmas, my halloween demo day.

happier or sadder? the same.

home stuff.

grading.

in sterling/iowa with kevin's family.

i'm still in love.

jon & kate plus 8. entourage. boston legal.

no.

snow flower and the secret fan.

estelle.

a kitchen! an engagement :)

a snow day on monday.

step brothers.

my parents visited. we went out for sushi and picked up a coldstone cake for desert. it was a day after a blizzard and freezing. 25

a better cooperating teacher.
