Sunday
Well it's been a while since my last entry, so i figured it was time for an update. Midterm week was hell and a half. I passed all of my miterms but not with flying colors. It was pretty much 70's around the board, but seeing as I did practically no studying I dont think I have the right to complain.
On the 5th we had out annual Mondy Open House, which is always stressful but a lot of fun. Nicole, Lauren and Josh came over so the 4 of us were crashed up in my room for most of the night while we had about 80 some odd people in the rest of my house. So I did my best to see everyone in between us watching my new Dane Cook dvd! Lauren gave me my Christmas present when she got there, a freaking fuzzy pink photo album. I adore it, THANKS LAUR! Nicole and I somehow got into a wrestling match, it's a very long story right there but we both have battle wounds from it.
I made plans to go to Philadelphia over February break to visit with Elena for a few days but as of last week I'm no longer going. I would have been going by myself by bus, over night which was hard enough to talk my parents to letting me do, but they did say it was okay. Until we found out at some random time like 2 am I would have to transfer buses in NYC which made my parents change their mind on the whole thing. I was really upset because I was looking forward to seeing Elena for a few days, just me and her so that definitely sucks. But Nicole and Lauren are planing something for the 18th (the night I would have left) and absolutely refuse to tell me what they're up to. It's turned into this huge secret that I'm not allowed to know about. And now Josh and JoeJoe are in one it who also won't clue me in on the festivities for the night. But Joe did give me the WORST clue about what they're planing. Something about "the fish is in the stream, the buffalo is at the gate, the swan is in the tree and the gopher is in the garden" or somethng like that. And apparently that actually does have something to do with whats going on this Friday night. I'm excited to see what these crazy kids are up to!
Friday ngiht me and Kaylee got together to catch up since I haven't seen her since the day before I left for my cruise so that was amazing. I love that girl, she's hilarious. We just realized that when we were 8-ish we played softball together on the Braves. I completely had forgotten about it and she had too until our moms saw each other and my mom said "sarah you doofus you do know who this is don't you?" What a small world! But we did some shopping and went out to dinner. It was just what I needed after a few long weeks.
Yesterday was a mental health day for me. I stayed in my PJ's until 4 o'clock. Took a nap in the middle of the afternoon because I had nothing better to do with my time and it was GREAT. Aaron come over for a little while and we watch a movie, nothing big for my Saturday night. And today The Jazz Band is playing at the German House for a Tsunami Fund Raiser with a bunch of other bands from around here. Wish us luck!
